The Future of Biodiesel

A recent news report stated that American biodiesel producers lost their tax credit , which will cause many to shut down. The article paints a bleak picture for the makers of the “green” diesel which, unlike ethanol, actually makes sense to produce and use.
The National Biodiesel Board is saying that despite the recent dark days, the long term future of biodiesel is good.
No word yet on how this will affect the Earthrace trimaran, which in 2008 circled the globe fueled by biodiesel, and is now used to save the whales.
